BOOSTIN-S

BOOSTIN is a milk production stimulant in a sustained release formulation that contains bovine somatotropin (bST).It was exclusively developed with in-house technology by LG Life Sciences.

The Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy designated BOOSTIN as a "world-leading product," and since being launched commercially, it has become the best-selling milk production stimulant in markets outside the US. Healthy cows supplemented with BOOSTIN-S injections will consume 8% more feed while producing some 20% more milk. Administration is easy, as a single injection will remain effective for two weeks.

The effects of one injection last for two weeks

A cartridge contains recombinant Bovine Somatotropin (rBST) of 500mg

● Target animal : dairy cows in lactation
● Recommended dosage : 1 cartridge (500mg) every 2 weeks
● Optimum period for administration : From just after lactation peak throughout late stage
● Ending Time : 1 month before dry period
● Administration route : subcutaneous (SC) injection
● Injection site : in the area between the pins and the tailhead(ischiorectal fossa) in a regularly alternating fashion (right and left side)

Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions occurring with BOOSTIN are transient and local inflammation around the injection site.

● Keep at 2~8℃refrigeration
● Do not freeze.
● Avoid high temperature and direct sunlight.
The cartridges are required to be warmed up to room temperature(15~30'c)just before injection.
● Expiration : 3 years from manufacturing date
