Eltosil

LGLS applied the latest bioengineering methods to develop ELTOSIL, the world? first orally administered growth stimulant for fish. The main ingredient is a 191-amino-acid-long protein that stimulates growth and affects the metabolism of tissue, cells and energy. ELTOSIL is absorbed into the lower intestine of fish (fingerlings and older), stimulates growth and boosts the immune system. The time to raise fish to maturity is shortened and the mortality rate is lowered, raising the unit production volume. This translates into higher income for fish farmers.
