Although the global economy has been recovering slowly from the recent financial crisis, exporting economies have been confronted with reduced profitability due to lower foreign exchange rates, and pharmaceutical manufacturers in particular have faced a sea change in their regulatory framework.
Our company's management performance in 2010 was somewhat less than we had hoped.
Despite these recent challenges, we are confident that our uniquely competitive technologies and business competencies directed squarely toward customer satisfaction will enable LGLS to continue maximizing corporate value, and we have executed our management plans accordingly.
We have applied to the US FDA for approval to sell the world's first sustained-release human growth hormone therapy, and our clinical testing of diabetes and arthritis treatments continues on schedule. We also have plans to construct a new plant in Osong to prepare for further increases in our worldwide sales.

Although we face an uncertain business environment, LGLS will continue striving to be the partner of choice for customers and investors.
In the coming year, all of our staff and management will be focused on achieving the following goals: First, we will work harder to increase our sales and profits by diversifying into new business fields and expanding our reach in overseas markets. Second, we will continue to invest in R&D and production technologies to pave the way for the company's rapid growth. Third, we will actively launch new projects to differentiate ourselves from competitors and create greater value for all stakeholders.
